Run an originality report on your work

If your teacher turns on originality reports for an assignment, yous can use the reports to identify uncited content and unintentional plagiarism before you plow in your work. The reports compare your Google Docs or Slides files against webpages and books on the internet.

Your teacher tin't see the reports that you run. After y'all plow in your work, Classroom automatically runs a written report that only your teacher can see. If you lot unsubmit and resubmit a file, Classroom runs another originality report for the teacher.

Originality reports are only bachelor for Google Workspace for Education accounts gear up to English language, French, Indonesian, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Japanese, and Finnish. Originality reports are bachelor on February 24, 2021, for accounts fix to German language, Korean, Danish, Hindi and Malay.

Run an originality report

If your teacher turned on originality reports for an assignment, y'all can run upwardly to 3 reports on your work.

  2. Click the gradeand then Classwork.

  3. Click the assignmentand then View Assignment.

  4. Under Your work, upload or create your file.
  5. Next to Originality reports, click Run.
    Note: If you lot don't see Originality reports, your teacher might not accept turned information technology on.
  6. Under the file name, click View originality written report to see the report.
  7. (Optional) To salvage or print your originality report, at the height, click Impress"" and choose an option:
    • Salve every bit PDF
    • Save to your Google Bulldoze
    • Print the report

Tip: In club to create an originality report, documents must not exceed a file size of 2MB.
